DALLAS, Texas ? Thirty-three members of the Nebraska men’s and women’s track and field teams have earned academic All-Big 12 honors, the league office has announced. Twenty-nine Huskers (20 women, nine men) won first-team honors, while four others (two women, two men) were named to the second team. The NU women’s 22 total selections paced all Big 12 men’s and women’s squads.

Junior Bryce Dickmeyer earned his fourth honor overall (two track and field, two cross country), while senior Aaron Plas and juniors Lee Martin and Nate Probasco each were named to their third career academic conference squads.

Senior teammates Michaela Lenihan and Kayte Tranel each earned their fifth career nods (two track, three cross country), while seniors Sara Jane Baker, Nicole Kadyszewski, Ashley Selig, Jamie Senkbile and junior Jeni Steiner claimed the third awards of their respective careers.
