2008 (Senior)
Thorin Meyer competed in six meters during his final season as a Husker... started the season at the Jim Click Shootout in Tucson, Ariz., with a seventh-place finish (182-0)... posted back-to-back third-place finishes at the Doane Relays and Nebraska Open... recorded season-best throw of 184-11 (56.37) at the Nebraska Open... ended his Husker career at the Nebraska Invitational with a third-place throw of 177-11 (54.23).
 

 

2007 (Junior) 

Meyer tallied the first event title of his three-year career with first place at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite (177-8)... threw a season-best mark of 181-6 for 13th place at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships.

 

2006 (Sophomore)
Meyer led the Huskers in the javelin in his second season of competition... competed at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships for the first time, finishing 11th (178-11)... posted his career-best 187-7 at the Ward Haylett Invitational... earned third-place finishes at the Nebraska Invite (179-8) and Doane Relays (181-0).

 

2005 (Freshman)
Meyer claimed third place at the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight with a season-best throw of 177-7... opened the season at 174-9 at the Emporia State Relays... at the Nebraska Invite, threw 173-3.

 

High School (West Point)
Meyer was a shot putter and discus thrower at West Point High School under Coach Craig Schmidt... qualified in three events for the 2003 Nebraska Class B state meet (shot put, discus and 4x100-meter relay), but did not place.

Majoring in theatre... parents are Harvey and Beverly Meyer... born Sept. 5, 1984.
