2006: Justine Roach was Nebraska’s leader in the intermediate hurdles and provided a talented leg of the 4x400-meter relay... claimed her fifth career all-conference honor by helping the 4x400-meter relay finish sixth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... also competed in the 600-yard run indoors, as well as the 400-meter hurdles and 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay outdoors for NU’s conference team... recorded a season-best hurdles time of 1:00.31 to qualify for the finals at the NCAA Midwest Regional... did not qualify for the national meet with a seventh-place finish... notched her first regional-qualifying mark of the season by winning the Ward Haylett Invitational title in 1:00.73... also claimed top honors at the Nebraska Invite (1:01.81)... ran on the 4x100-meter shuttle hurdle relay team that posted the eighth-best time in school history (58.80) at the Kansas Relays. 2005: Roach ended her sophomore season with her first trip to the NCAA outdoor meet, where she placed 15th in the semifinals of the 400-meter hurdles in 59.07... set a personal-best time of 58.56 during the prelims of the Midwest Regional before finishing fifth in the finals to reach the national meet... also claimed fifth in the hurdles at the Big 12 outdoor meet... finished fourth in the 600-yard run (1:22.75) at the Big 12 indoor meet... ran a leg of NU’s 4x400-meter relay team that earned gold at the Holiday Inn Invite (3:46.29), Husker Invite (3:39.01) and Iowa State Classic (3:38.89)... set a career-best mark of 56.16 during the prelims of the 400 meters at the Husker Invite... notched two regional-qualifying marks outdoors at the Penn Relays in the 400-meter hurdles (59.18) and 4x400-meter relay (3:37.84)... finished second in the 400 hurdles (1:02.73) and third in the 4x400-meter relay at the Kansas Relays (3:48.96). 2004: Roach claimed sixth place in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.57) at the Big 12 outdoor meet following her season-best performance of 1:01.08 in the preliminary round... ran her indoor season-best of 9.04 in the 60-meter hurdles during a preliminary heat of the Tiger Classic... won gold in the 400-meter hurdles at both the K.T. Woodman Classic (1:04.48) and Mid-States Collegiate Open (1:01.46)... placed second at the Nebraska Quadrangular (1:02.26). High School: Roach hurdled to a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.46) in the 2003 Norwich Union AAA Under-20 Championships... was 400-meter hurdles runner-up (1:01.47) in the 2002 AAA U-20 championships... set a personal-best 400-meter hurdles time of 1:00.30 at the 2002 Aqua-Pura meet in Loughborough, England... placed three times in the Norwich Union AAA U-20 Indoor Championships in the 60-meter hurdles (sixth in 2003, second in 2002 and third in 2001)... runner-up in the English Schools AA National Championships senior girls 400-meter hurdles (1:00.96) in 2002... won the 2001 ESAA championship in the intermediate girls 300-meter hurdles... ran a personal-best 42.50 to win the 2001 International Schools title in Tullamore, Ireland, in the 300-meter hurdles.
