Bowlin Stadium is part of the 32-acre Haymarket Park complex that was built for $29.53 million in 2001. The 2004 SportsTurf Managers Association College/University Division Field of the Year, Bowlin Stadium opened in 2002. The clubhouse and locker room were renovated in 2010 (below) and a new $4.75 million indoor practice facility opened in the fall of 2011 (bottom). A video board was added in 2012 and new turf was planted following that season. In 2017, a new video board was installed. In 2023, Bowlin Stadium received a new turf outfield and a new outfield fence.

The Bowlin Stadium clubhouse includes medical facilities, coaches' offices, a locker room and players' lounge. Bowlin Stadium can accommodate up to 2,530 fans. It features 750 chairback seats with an up-close view of the action, as well as berm seating behind both dugouts and in the outfield, and bleacher seating on the first base concourse. The dimensions of the field are 200 feet down both foul lines and 220 feet in center. 

The Nebraska softball team utilizes the David and Carol Alloy Strength Complex. The model strength and conditioning program in the nation, Husker Power plays a major role in the continuing success of Nebraska Athletics. Nebraska's strength program was the first in the nation, and their facilities have set the standard in collegiate athletics since the early 1970s.
