Savanah Anderson-Baer

Former Husker forward Savanah (Uveges) Anderson-Baer is in her fourth season as an assistant coach in 2026.

A 2018 All-Big Ten selection and two-time captain, Anderson-Baer spent two seasons post-graduation playing professionally for the Orlando Pride (2020-21) and MSV Duisburg (2021-22) in Germany.

She helped Nebraska reach the Elite Eight and win the Big Ten regular-season championship in 2023. Additionally, Eleanor Dale became the 14th different Husker to be named an All-American by the United Soccer Coaches. 

In 2025, Nebraska finished with a record of 8-5-5, starting the season with a 10-match unbeaten streak. During the 2024 campaign, she coached Sarah Weber to First Team All-Big Ten honors as the forward finished fourth in the conference with 11 goals. 

In the 2023 season, Anderson-Baer helped the Huskers claim the Big Ten Regular-Season title, end the year ranked No. 7 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, and finish in the Elite Eight for the first time since 1999.  

Anderson-Baer was a three-year letterwinner for the Huskers from 2017-2019, capturing All-Big Ten and Preseason honors. A two-time Academic All-Big Ten member, she made 44 appearances at Nebraska and scored 11 goals and tallied four assists. Anderson-Baer, who graduated in 2019, was a 10-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

After her professional playing career, Anderson-Baer was a medical assistant while coaching at TOCA. She was also a cardio pulmonary intern at St. Elizabeth hospital and a volunteer coach in Nicaragua with Soccer without Borders.
