PITCHING

• Season was cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic
• Made 13 appearances including nine starts
• Finished with an ERA of 5.01 and a record of 4-5
• Pitched 44.2 innings and recorded 38 strikeouts
• Pitched one complete game and also have one save
• Pitched in the season opener against NM State
• Picked up her first career save in NU's first win of the season against UTEP
• Pitched 1.0 inning of relief against the Miners and didn't allow a hit or a walk, but recorded one strikeout
• Earned her first win of the season against Bradley
• Pitched a complete 7.0 innings and gave up just one run on three hits, while recording seven strikeouts
• Started in the circle against No. 20/24 Arkansas
• Started and pitched 6.0 innings to pick up the win against Boston College at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge
• Gave up one run on five hits and recorded eight strikeouts against the Eagles
• Pitched 3.0 innings of relief against BYU at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic

Freshman Season (2019)
PITCHING

• Made 31 appearances, including 20 starts
• Pitched four complete games, including one shutout
• Pitched a team-high 106.1 innings and recorded a team-best 91 strikeouts
• Finished with an ERA of 4.81 and an 11-12 record, earning a team-high 11 wins
• Made three appearances in the circle at the Lone Star College Classic
• Started in the season opener against Lamar, becoming just the third Husker freshman pitcher to start a season opener singe 1995
• Pitched a complete five-inning game to earn her first career win
• Gave up no earned runs on seven hits and recorded eight strikeouts, while not giving up a walk against the Cardinals
• Pitched 3.0 innings of relief against Texas Tech, giving up two runs on two hits and recording four strikeouts

• Recorded 514 strikeouts in 302.1 innings pitched, including a career-high 150 strikeouts as a sophomore in 2016
• Had a career winning percentage of .760, boasting a 38-12 record with a .124 opponent batting average
• Hit .439 in her career, which included a career-best .519 as a senior
• Had 68 career hits, 60 career RBIs, nine career doubles, three career triples and 11 career home runs
• Helped Sierra High School claim the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV Championship in 2015, 2017 and 2018

• Was named the CalHiSports.com California Softball Player of the Year in the small schools division following her senior season

“Lindsey Walljasper is a competitor on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she wants the ball in her hands from the pitcher’s mound with the game on the line, and offensively, Lindsey wants to be the one in the batter’s box. She has a deep-seeded belief that all things can and should be accomplished when one sets their mind to it, and works relentlessly toward it. Lindsey spreads her positivity to our team both in the locker room and on the diamond.”
