2004: Season Outlook
Nicole Trimboli (pronounced Trim-BOWL-ee) will have a new spot in the outfield and in the batting order in 2004. Trimboli, who earned All-Big 12 honors as NU's left fielder in 2001 and as the Huskers' first baseman in 2002, will replace four-year starter Kim Ogee in centerfield this season.

Offensively, Trimboli will be batting leadoff after hitting third, fourth or fifth in the order during the past three seasons.

NU Coach Rhonda Revelle believes the moves will help the Huskers take advantage of Trimboli's athleticism and competitive attitude.

A career .301 hitter, Trimboli has already made her mark on the Husker record books. She ranks among the Nebraska career leaders in several categories, including RBIs (6th, 125), batting average (15th, .301), home runs (10th, 19) and slugging percentage (11th, .451).

2003: Junior Season
A clutch hitter, Trimboli hit .277 in 2003 but her numbers jumped to .351 (34-for-97) with runners on base and .333 (22-for-66) with runners in scoring position ... accounted for five game-winning runs, including an RBI single in the top of the second inning against Hofstra, May 17, at the NCAA Regional Tournament ... ranked second on the team with 15 stolen bases and was second in the Big 12 with seven steals in conference games ... recorded a career-best three stolen bases at Baylor April 6 ... ranked third on the team with 32 RBIs, fourth with 51 hits and tied for fourth with five home runs ... had 10 multiple-hit games ... was fourth on the team in April with a .289 average, 10 RBIs and three home runs ... ranked second on the team in February with a .385 average, four runs scored, a double and two home runs ... tied a season-high of three hits four times, last against Mississippi State, May 16 at the NCAA Regional Tournament ... had her best offensive game of the season against Southwest Texas State Feb. 8, going 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.

2002: Sophomore Season
After having one of the most successful freshman campaigns in NU softball history, Trimboli didn’t disappoint in her sophomore campaign ... ranked third on the team and eighth in the Big 12 with a .342 average ... hit .388 with runners in scoring position and went a perfect 5-for-5 (1.000) with the bases loaded ... led Nebraska and ranked second in the league with 48 RBIs, the seventh-best single-season total in school history ... led Nebraska with 13 multiple-RBI games ... tied for first on the squad with eight game-winning RBIs ... produced a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh to lead NU to a 6-2 win over No. 24 Texas A&M in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament and was named to the all-tournament team ... only Husker to earn All-Big 12 honors at two positions (first base in 2002 and right field in 2001) after receiving second-team All-Big 12 honors when she finished the 2002 ranked among the conference leaders in RBIs, hits (fifth, 67), runs scored (eighth, 37), total bases (ninth, 94) and batting average ... tied for third on the team with 16 stolen bases ... produced an eight-game hitting streak from April 6 to April 21, going 12-for-27 (.444) during that time.

2001: Freshman Season
