Senior Season (2020)

• Season was cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic
• Played in nine games which included six starts at first base
• Scored one run and recorded three hits and two RBIs
• Went 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI in NU's first win of the season against UTEP
• Made her first career start at first base in game two against UTEP
• Went 1-for-2 with and RBI and a walk in game one against Boston College at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge
• Drew two walks in game one against Wichita State

Junior Season (2019)

• Played in 42 of Nebraska's 52 games, making 41 starts at second base
• Hit .205 with eight runs, 17 hits, seven doubles, one triple, 13 RBIs and seven walks
• Went 5-for-15 (.333) with four RBIs, two doubles and two stolen bases during the opening weekend
• Tied a career high with two hits in the season opener against Lamar
• Also had two RBIs and a double against the Cardinals
• Had one hit, one run and two RBIs against Texas Tech
• Had a double in NU's second game against Lamar
• Had one hit against UNO at the Lone Star College Classic
• Went 2-for-7 (.286) with two runs, three RBIs and a double at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge
• Had one RBI against Arizona State
• Drew one walk against UCLA
• Hit her first career triple in game three against Wichita State
• Had one hit in both game one and game two against No. 25 Northwestern
• Also finished with an RBI and a double against the Wildcats
• Went 2-for-3 with one run in game two against Purdue

Sophomore Season (2018)

• Started 38 games at third base 
• Had five RBIs and scored seven runs
• Drew 12 walks and stole one base on the year
• Hit four doubles in sophomore season after only having one as a freshman
• Recorded a double against No. 15 Utah and Cal State Northridge
• Also had one RBI against No. 15 Utah
• Has one stolen base on the season against Cal State Northridge
• Had a double against No. 3 UCLA
• Had one hit in each of the first two games of the Wichita State series
• Also had an RBI in game two against the Shockers 
• Went 1-for-2 with a double against South Dakota State
• Went 4-for-6 with one RBI and two runs scored in Michigan State series 
• Scored one run and drew a walk in 9-3 win over South Dakota
• Drew two walks and scored one run in game one against Northwestern
• Went 1-for-2 with one run and a walk in game two against Purdue
• Went 1-for-2 in game two against Minnesota
• Went 2-for-2 with two runs, an RBI and a walk against South Dakota State, tying career bests in hits and runs

Freshman Season (2017)

• Earned seven starts at shortstop and one start at designated player
• Also appeared as a pinch hitter six times
• Went 3-for-6 with a double and an RBI in limited at bats during Big Ten play
• Was 3-for-4 with a double, run and RBI in two games off the bench at Wisconsin
• Came off the bench to go 2-for-3 with a double in series finale at No. 22 Wisconsin
• Marked her first career multi-hit game and first career extra-base hit
• Also drove in a run and scored a run in game three vs. the Badgers
• Recorded first career pinch hit - a single - in game two at No. 22 Wisconsin
• Had back-to-back games with an RBI single on March 4
• Went 1-for-3 with an RBI and scored her first career run vs. Lamar
• Went 1-for-3 with an RBI vs. IUPUI to mark the first hit and RBI of her career
• Drew a walk as a pinch hitter vs. Oregon State
• Marked the first time she reached base safely
• Saw her first action at third base at No. 3 Florida State on Feb. 19

Before Nebraska (Webb City High School)

• Did not play high school softball after her freshman season
• Instead competed extensively with the DeMarini Aces travel team
• Helped the Aces post a top-25 finish at the 2015 PGF National Championship
• Was named a 2016 PGF Central Region All-American
• Also played basketball for Webb City
• Averaged 11.8 points per game as a senior
• Was an all-district selection as a junior

• Daughter of Joe and Kara Kneib
• Her mother, Kara, was a college softball player
• Has a twin sister, Lindey, a junior softball player at Harvard
• Has an older sister, Laney, a four-year pitcher at Saint Louis (2013-16)
• Lexey’s grandfather signed a contract with the Baltimore Orioles
