Pitching

• Came in as relief against North Texas in Game Three of the NCAA Regional 
• Earned the win over North Texas in Game One of the NCAA Regional
• Was 1-0 at the Big Ten Tournament, pitched nine innings and held opponents to one earned run 
• Recorded the loss in the opening game against Indiana 
• Finished 1-1 at Ohio State 
• Was 0-1 at the Wisconsin series, pitching 8.0 innings, striking out 5 and giving up six hits 
• Went 2-0 in the Minnesota series with a 0.00 ERA, striking out 8 through 11.1 innings

Junior Season (2021)
Pitching

• Ranked 9th in the Big Ten in saves (2)
• Leads NU in starts (21), strikeouts (100) and opponent batting average (.258)
• Started the opener against Indiana, allowing three runs in 5.1 innings
• Struck out seven Hoosiers, including five of the first six batters
• Earned the win against Michigan State with 4.0 two-hit, shutout innings
• Went 2-1 with a 1.12 ERA over 18.2 innings in three starts during the second weekend in Florida

• Picked up her first win of the season in game two against UTEP
• Started and pitched 4.0 innings and gave up one run on three hits in a five-inning mercy-rule win against the Miners
• Started and pitched a complete 7.0 innings in the win against Georgia Tech at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge

• Earned her first save of the season against Seattle, pitching one inning and recording two strikeouts

Before Nebraska (Elkhorn South HS)

• Excelled as both a pitcher and hitter as one of the state’s top players for Class B state champion Elkhorn South
• Was a three-time Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska honoree and a three-time Lincoln Journal Star Super-State selection
• Named an honorary captain of the Super-State team as both a junior and senior
• Led Elkhorn South to its first state title as a senior
• Posted a 17-3 record with a 1.30 ERA in 113.0 innings, while adding 191 strikeouts
• Batted .404 with six homers and 34 RBIs
• Was a first-team Super-State and All-Nebraska selection and was an honorary captain of the Super-State team
• Led the Storm to a runner-up finish at the state tournament as a junior
• Posted a 24-7 record with a 1.50 ERA and 295 strikeouts in the circle with 11 shutouts and three no-hitters, while batting .430 with four homers and 30 RBIs at the plate
• Named co-captain of the Super-State team
• Was a first-team All-Nebraska selection
• Was a second-team All-Nebraska and Super-State honoree as a sophomore, when she posted a 25-9 record
• In travel ball, Ferrell was the winning pitcher in the championship game of the 2015 ASA Gold 16-and-Under National Championship when her Nebraska Gold team became the first team from the Cornhusker state to win a national title
• Shut out the Kansas City Originals in the title game and finished the tournament with a 7-1 record and a 1.40 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 46.0 innings
