Nebraska track and field will have athletes all over the country this week with select event groups going to the Heartland Invitational, Husky Classic and Tyson Invitational.
The Huskers will travel men’s distance, select women’s distance, sprinters and horizontal jumpers to Fayetteville, Ark. for the Tyson Invitational at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Berlyn Schutz, Sydney Drevlow, Kelsie Belquist, Ali Bainbridge, Abrielle Artley, Victoria Aransiola, Jaylee Wingate and Sakena Massiah will head to Seattle, Wash. for the Husky Classic at Dempsey Indoor.
The rest of the track and field team will be competing at the Heartland Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind. at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center.
The Nebraska women check in at No. 12 in this week's USTFCCCA Poll, while the Husker men are ranked No. 25.

Huskers Shattering School Records
The Huskers have been rewriting the record books this indoor season. NU has four new school records already:

- Berlyn Schutz, 800m (2:04.81)

Husker Shot Put Remains the Best in the Nation
In the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings this week, both the Husker men's shot put and women's shot put remain at the top of the ranks as the No. 1 unit.
NU's men's weight throw ranks No. 3 in the country and the high jump (No. 5), long jump (No. 7) and Pole Vault (No. 10) all rank in the top-10 as well.
The Husker women's weight throw ranks No. 6 in the country, and the high jump unit ranks No. 7 overall.
Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational Recap
Day one: The Nebraska track and field team began action at the 50th Annual Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track on Friday night.
Noa Isaia continued his dominant indoor season, throwing 22.12m (72-7) in the men’s weight throw to win the event title and move into fourth in school history. Isaia has won three weight throw titles in a row. Fellow Huskers Brett Schwartz (2nd - PR 20.65m, 67-9) and Seth Schnakenberg (3rd - 20.56, 67-5 ½) completed the men’s weight throw podium sweep. Schwartz' throw tied for 10th in school history.
In the men's mile, the Huskers swept the podium with Gabe Nash taking first with a personal best 4:06.48. Kaleb Sharp ran a PR (4:09.73) of his own to finish second, and Dennis Chapman placed third, running 4:10.35.
Sydney Drevlow ran a personal best 1:33.07 in the women’s 600m on her way to a second-place finish. Luciana Medina added a third-place finish, running 1:33.44.
Kellyn Kortemeyer threw a PR 20.26m (66-5 ¾) in the women’s weight throw to claim second and improve on her No. 4 mark in school history.
Rajer Gurode finished third in the women’s 60m with a time of 7.44. On the men’s side, Ashriel Dixon sprinted to a personal best 6.80 to finish fifth.
Michael Buchanan jumped 7.00m (22-11 ¾) to place second in the men’s long jump competition in his first event as a Husker.
Dyson Wicker cleared 5.70m (18-8 ¼) to win the men’s pole vault event title, his fourth straight win in four meets this indoor season.
James Ledbetter ran to a third-place finish in the men’s 600m race with a time of 1:20.10.
Grace Parsons scored 3,709 points in the heptathlon to finish sixth overall. After day one of the heptathlon, Brayden Bergkamp is in third place with 2,967 points, and Luke Noland is in fourth with 2,959 points.

Day two: The Nebraska track and field team concluded the 50th Annual Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track on Saturday. The Huskers won seven event titles on Saturday to bring their two-day total to 10 overall.
Mason Kooi cleared 2.16m (7-1) to win his third straight men’s high jump competition of the season. Ela Velepec claimed the women’s high jump title, clearing a mark of 1.81m (5-11 ¼). Karsyn Leeling cleared 1.73m (5-8) to claim second and EJ Brown was third at the same height.
Kellyn Kortemeyer threw for a mark of 16.37m (53-8 ½) to win the women’s shot put for the Big Red. Donna Douglas followed in second with a mark of 16.27m (53-4 ½). Jolina Lange threw 15.96m (52-4 ½) to complete the Husker podium sweep with her third-place finish. Sage Burbach (4th - 15.42m, 50-7 ¼) and Lauren St. Peters (5th - 15.23m, 49-11 ¾) rounded out the Husker women's dominant performance.
Berlyn Schutz added another event title to her impressive indoor campaign, winning the women’s 800m in 2:05.28. Jordan Metzler (2:10.93), Erin Moore (2:11.94) and Taya Fettig (2:14.73) all ran personal bests.
Emmanuel Rwotomiya, Jacorric Allen, James Ledbetter and Richard Simpson led the men’s 4x400m team to a win, running 3:11.56. On the women’s side, Kelsie Belquist, Victoria Aransiola, Sakena Massiah and Abrielle Artley took the event title with a time of 3:38.49.
Grant Wasserman ran 8:19.59 to win the men’s 3000m event title.
Kelsie Belquist circled the track in 23.46 to finish second in the women’s 200m and moved to No. 2 in school history in the indoor 200m.
Kaleb Sharp ran a season-best 1:51.40 to finish second in the men’s 800m race.
Cade Moran threw 18.84m (61-9 ¾) to earn a second-place finish in the men’s shot put, but he was the top collegiate finisher.
Luke Noland placed second in the heptathlon with a personal-best total of 5,286. Noland won the 60m hurdles (8.17). Braydend Bergkamp was third in the heptathlon with 5,223 points. He won the 1,000m (2:54.79).
