Indoor: Opened his freshman year at the Husker Holiday Open with a team title in the men’s 4x400m (3:15.61) and competed in the men’s 300m, placing third (34.71)…Continued with a strong fourth-place finish in the men’s 400m (48.28) at the Graduate Classic and contributed to a first-place finish in the men’s 4x400m (3:15.23)...Helped the 4x400m team to victory at the Mark Colligan Memorial with a time of 3:14.60 and finished fourth individually in the men’s 400m (49.00).

Outdoor: Finished sixth in the 300m at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational with a personal- best 33.96... Contributed to a second-place finish in the men's 4x100m relay (41.67) at the Big Red Classic...Contributed to a eighth-place team finish and combined time of 41.42 in the men's 4x100m relay, and helped to a fifth-place team finish and combined time of 3:09.10 in the men's 4x400m relay race at the Big Ten Championships.

Before Nebraska
Attended Boling High School and Wharton High School...set high school bests of 21.20 in the 200m and 47.09 in the 400m...was a three-time district, area and regional champion and a three-time state qualifier.
