Kim’s score was good enough to take her to the finals, where she finished eighth overall. Shooting the second-best air rifle score on the day for the Big Red was Ryann McGough, who shot her way to a 583 in air rifle.

After air rifle competition, combined scores were totalled. Nebraska was paced overall by Janine Dutton, who fired a combined total of 1,155, 18th overall. Second for the Huskers was Ryann McGough, whose score of 1,148 overall sat at 30th overall in the competition.

This concludes NU's team season, though it isn't the end of action for one Nebraska rifle athlete. Junior Katie Kostal will travel to Columbas, Ga. on March 11-12 to compete in the National Collegiate Men's and Women's Rifle Championships. Kostal was selected as one of eight individual qualifiers based on the scores submitted from the NCAA Qualifying matches.
