Ten members of the Nebraska bowling team earned spots on the 2010 Fall Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. The list was released Feb. 4, 2011 and honors students in the Big 12 who recorded a 3.00 or better GPA during the previous semester. The honor is inclusive for varsity sports sponsored by the membership of the league.
Senior Katie Ann Sopp made her seventh appearance on the list. The business administration and management student has made the list in each semester since the fall of 2007. Senior Kayla Stram was named to the honor for the fifth time, while seniors Danielle van der Meer and Jasmine Laugerman also earned a spot on the list.
Six underclass Husker bowlers also appeared on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Jr. Valerie Calberry earned her fifth appearance on the Honor Roll, while Kayla Johnson, Kristina Mickelson, Shalima Zalsha, Jaclyn Sutton and Sabrena Divis were each honored as well.
More than 2,000 student-athletes each semester have been named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll in the Conference's 15-year tenure.
