2011-12 (Junior)
Shalima Zalsha (pronouced SHUH-leem-uh ZAHL-shuh) added depth to the Husker bowling team during her junior season. Zalsha competed in six tournaments for NU, recording two game averages as well.

Zalsha's best performance of the season came at the Mid-Winter Classic in Jonesboro, Ark., where she posted a 191 average with 54 pocket hits.

She ended the season with a 187.8 average and a 1,498 total pinfall.

2010-11 (Sophomore)
Zalsha saw limited time during her sophomore year, competing in two tournaments for the Huskers. She produced a 192 average in her lone team game at the Capital City Collegiate Classic. 

A strong performer in the classroom, the native of Jakarta, Indonesia earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll during both the spring and fall semesters for the second straight year.

2009-10 (Freshman)
Zalsha competed in six regular-season tournaments for the Huskers, along with the 2010 NCAA Championships. Her best competition of the year came at the Mid-Winter Classic, where she posted a 925 pinfall over five games for a for a 185 average.

Before Nebraska
Zalsha is a five year-member of the Indonesian National Team, where she helped her team to a silver medal at the South East Asian Games in 2007. Individually, Zalsha is a nine-time national champion and a second-place finisher at the Asian Bowling Federation Tournament of Champions.

Zalsha graduated from Al-Izar school in 2009, where she competed under Head Coach Sid Allen.

Personal

Shalima was born Dec. 4, 1990, to Mirna R. Hakim and Hairizal Hakim, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has one brother, Yustin Perdana. Shalima is a computer science major at Nebraska, and earned four consecutive appearances on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
