Huskers fall 10-8, as they load the bases in the ninth, but Sullivan grounds into a game-ending double play

The Roadrunners add a pair of runs, taking a 9-8 lead on Richard McIntyre's triple before Richard Escalera's sacrifice fly makes it a 10-8 game heading to the bottom of the ninth.

Kyle Richardson opens the top of the ninth with a solo homer and we are tied at 8-all

3:51 p.m.
Mariot sets the side down in order in the eighth, as Nebraska leads 8-7. Bailey's two-homer game is the second by a Husker this year, as Jeff Tezak had two homers at Oklahoma on March 29

3:46 p.m.
Nebraska regains the lead in the bottom of the seventh, as Adam Bailey clears the scoreboard in right center for his second homer of the day and 11th of the year. Huskers lead 8-7

3:39 p.m.
Michael Mariot works out of trouble in the seventh, Cade Thompson makes a nifty snag of Cody Asche's throw from third. Its stretch time with NU trailing 7-6.

3:33 p.m.
The Huskers threaten in the sixth, as Thompson singles for his third hit, but NU is unable to push across a run. NU is down 7-6 after six complete

3:25 p.m.
Roualdes sets the Roadrunners down in order in the sixth, as NU looks to overcome a 7-6 deficit

3:20 p.m.
The Huskers get a runner on base, but can't push the tying run across. Roadrunners lead 7-6 after five innings

3:14 p.m.
Martin Medina makes it s 7-6 game for Cal State Bakersfield with a solo homer to left in the top of the fifth. Medina now has two homers for the Roadrunners.

3:10 p.m.
Nebraska goes quietly in the fourth, and Jordan Roualdes is now on to pitch and potentially hit for the Huskers. We are tied at six.

2:59 p.m.
Today has become home run derby at the ballpark, as Kyle Richardson's two-run homer to right makes it a 6-all game in the bottom of the fourth. The two teams have combined for five homer in the first three and a half innings.

2:54 p.m.
On graduation day, Nick Sullivan picks up a homer and a diploma, as he extends Nebraska's lead to 6-4 with his fifth homer of the season. Sullivan has now homered in three of his last four starts.

2:47 p.m.
The Roadrunners get three of the runs back, getting a sacrifice fly from Jeremy Rodriguez and a two-run homer by Martin Medina, to pull within 5-4. Kyle Bubak moved to short, as Kline may have gotten knicked on the foul ball punt attempt in the bottom of the second. Kash moves into Kline's spot in the order.

2:37 p.m.
Nebraska uses the long ball in the second, as Kale Kiser belts a three-run homer into the parking lot in right. It is his second homer of the year and first since Feb. 27  Huskers up

2:29 p.m.
Kash works around a two-out jam in the second inning, as Nebraska leads 2-1 in the bottom of the second.

2:21 p.m.
Adam Bailey does some yardwork for the Huskers, as his two-run homer to right center puts NU up 2-1. It is Bailey's first by March 18.

2:11 p.m.
Cal State Bakersfield strikes first, using a walk, a hit batter and an RBI single from Richard Escalera to jump to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Kalkowski then settled down, getting Jeremy Rodriguez to ground into a double play.

1:55 p.m.
It is a perfect day for a doubleheader, with temperatures at 63 degrees and sunny skies. Originally when the schedule was release last October, this was a doubleheader, but was changed with CSU Bakersfield had a full schedule. In its place the Feb. 25 game with North Dakota was added. It was 62 degrees for that game.

1:53 p.m.
Today's game is not being shown on video because of the Big 12's television contract. In conference TV windows on FSN, games can't be televised or video streamed, hence the audio only portion for today's game
