Huskers Open Fall Camp

Lincoln - Nebraska Coach Bill Callahan and the Husker football team welcomed members of the media to Memorial Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 3, for the first official press conference of the 2006 season. Following the press conference, which ended at approximately 1 p.m., the Huskers opened fall practice at 3 p.m.

Nebraska is scheduled to begin fall practice on Thursday afternoon, with the first practice set to run from approximately 3 to 5:30 p.m. The Huskers' fall practices are closed to the public, but Nebraska will invite fans to Memorial Stadium on Aug. 19 for its annual Fan Day.

Fan Day will follow the Coach Callahan 5K/Fun Run for Resources, which begins at Memorial Stadium at 8 a.m.
