Graduate (2020-21)
Alice Duan joined the Nebraska women’s golf team in mid-June of 2020 after earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. In her lone season of eligibility as a Husker, Duan helped transform the NU program into an NCAA Regional qualifier.

Duan's experience paid off for the Huskers in a big way at the 2021 Big Ten Championships. The graduate transfer from Reno, Nev., tied for 11th with an even-par 216 (73-68-75) to fuel Nebraska's tie for second. Duan's career-best-matching 68 (-4) in the second round on the 6,300-yard, par-72 layout at TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio, helped the Huskers to their best-ever Big Ten finish and their best conference finish since 1984 (2nd, Big Eight). Duan entered the final round of the championship in a tie for third place.

Duan's performance at the Big Ten Championship followed on the heels of a tie for 12th with a 218 (71-75-72) at the Indiana Spring Invitational (April 17-18. Duan's opening-round 71 (-1) was her best 18 holes of the season at the time, and helped power the Huskers to a tie for sixth in a 16-team field that featured 14 top-100 teams, including all 14 of the Big Ten schools.

Her late-season surge helped Nebraska claim its first NCAA Regional bid since 2008. Duan posted NU's No. 3 individual finish at the NCAA Columbus Regional, tying for 63rd with a three-round total of 231 (75-83-73) on the 6,358-yard, par-72 layout of Ohio State's Scarlet Course.

She posted a three-round score of 233, which included an even-par 72 in the final round on the 6,258-yard layout at Trinity Forest. Duan was NU's No. 2 finisher at the Bruin Wave Invitational in Somis, Calif. (March 1-3). In extremely challenging scoring conditions, Duan managed a 239 to tie for 31st in an 82-player field.

She added a three-round score of 236 (77-82-77) as Nebraska's No. 4 finisher at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational in Tucson (March 8-9). She tied for 66th individually in the field.

Duan followed with her first top-25 finish as a Husker, tying for 23rd in an 81-player field at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate (March 14-16). Duan's three-round total of 229 (79-76-74) helped Nebraska capture its first team tournament championship since 2019.
