Senior (2017-18)
Audrey Judd played well throughout her fourth season in Nebraska's lineup. The senior from Olathe, Kan., captured her second career tournament title at Nebraska's own Chip-N Club Invitational, Oct. 1-3. Judd shared individual medalist honors with a three-round total of 218 (76-72-70) in challenging conditions at Wilderness Ridge. Judd charged from four strokes back of co-champion Janet Yeo on the final day of competition, which included swirling and gusty winds, rain and a temperature that dropped 15 degrees from the start of the morning round until its completion in the early afternoon. It also earned Judd her second Big Ten Golfer-of-the-Week award of her career on Oct. 4, 2017.
The win gave Judd her third consecutive top-10 tournament finish to open her senior season. She added her fourth top-10 finish of the year by tying for sixth with a career-best-tying 209 (70-68-71) at the Westbrook Spring Invitational, Feb. 25-26.
Judd added her 10th career top-25 finish by tying for 18th with a 223 (78-74-71) at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 16-18. She managed a 230 (78-75-77) to tie for 50th at the Mountain View Invitational in Tucson, Ariz., March 23-25, before closing the season by tying for 49th with a 228 (77-75-76) at her final Big Ten Championship.
She finished with Nebraska's No. 2 individual stroke average (73.88) on the year, which also ranks as the No. 2 season average in school history behind only teammate Kate Smith's 73.66 in 2017-18.
Judd opened the fall season with a fourth-place finish at the UNO Invitational at ArborLinks in Nebraska City, Sept. 1-2. She closed the 54-hole tournament with a 225 (78-70-77). She added a tie for ninth with a two-round total of 145 (71-74) in 36 holes of stroke play at the East & West Match Play Challenge in Madison, Wis., on Sept. 17. She managed a tie for 27th (76-69-73-218) at the Pinehurst Challenge in North Carolina, Oct. 9-10. Her 218 matched her season-best tournament total, while her second-round 69 was a season best.
She ended the fall campaign with a 225 (76-75-74) to tie for 54th among 96 competitors at the UNLV Collegiate Showdown in Boulder City, Nev., Oct. 22-24.
In five fall tournaments and 14 rounds, Judd led the Huskers with a 73.64 stroke average. She did not compete in Nebraska's first tournament of the spring at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic because of injury.
Junior (2016-17)
Judd stepped into a leadership role for the young Huskers in 2016-17. She played the best golf of her career down the stretch in the regular season, producing a pair of top-five finishes in Nebraska's last three events, including a tournament title at the Westbrook Spring Invitational.
Judd was also one of Nebraska's top performers at the Big Ten Championships, tying for 49th with a three-round total of 236 (79-79-78) at TPC River's Bend in Maineville, Ohio, April 21-23. Judd finished the season with a 75.08 stroke average, which was the best junior season stroke average in Husker history. Her 75.08 average also ranked fifth overall on the Nebraska season charts.
She closed the regular season by tying her career best with a four-under-par 68 at the Hawkeye El Tigre in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on April 4. Judd's strong finish pushed her into a tie for fifth in the 79-player field in Mexico, giving her the third top-10 finish of her career. She finished with a three-round total of 217 (72-77-68) to close the regular season with a 74.59 stroke average, which is 3.57 strokes per round better than her sophomore campaign (78.16).
Judd produced the best performance of her career, claiming medalist honors at the 2017 Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 26-27. Judd fired a career-best three-round total of 209 to capture the individual title in a loaded 76-player field. Judd's performance included a career-best, final-round 68 to overcome a three-stroke deficit heading into the final 18 holes. She added a 69 in the second round, which tied her previous career best, after opening with an even-par 72 on the 6,269-yard layout of the Vistas Course at Westbrook Golf Club. For her efforts, Judd earned the first Big Ten Golfer-of-the-Week award of her career on March 2.
She followed her title at Westbrook with a tie for 60th (77-75-80-232) at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 17-19, before rebounding for her second top-five finish of the season in Mexico.
Judd, who battled injury during the summer, closed the fall with the three best tournament performances of her career up to that point. She tied for seventh with a then-career-best 215 (69-75-71) in a 102-player field at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colo., Oct. 7-9. Judd opened with a then-career-best three-under-par 69.
Judd's effort in Colorado followed a then-career-best tie for 16th at Nebraska's Chip-N Club Invitational at Wilderness Ridge, Sept. 25-27. Judd, who finished as NU's No. 2 individual with a 54-hole score of 225 (79-73-73), produced the first top-25 finish of her collegiate career.
She closed the fall with a one-under-par two-round total of 143 (71-72) at the rain-shortened Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in Boulder City, Nev., Oct. 23-25. Judd tied for 36th individually in a loaded 105-player field in Las Vegas.
Judd opened the spring with a three-round total of 242 (86-80-76) to settle for a tie for 63rd in a 75-player field at the Central District Invitational in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Feb. 20-21.
Judd did not compete for the Huskers at the season-opening Ptarmigan Ram Classic. She played outside the Husker lineup at the East & West Match Play Challenge in Ann Arbor, Mich., Sept. 18-20. She tied for 43rd (80-78-158) in two rounds of stroke play in Michigan.
Off the course, Judd earned academic All-Big Ten honors and was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring of 2017. She also earned her third spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
Sophomore (2015-16)
Judd was a staple in the Nebraska lineup in 2015-16, competing in all 32 rounds in the Husker lineup and finishing with a 78.16 stroke average. She produced the best finish of her young career by tying for 17th with a 226 (76-72-78) at Nebraska's Chip-N Club Invitational at the Country Club of Lincoln, Oct. 5-6. Her second-round 72 was a then-collegiate career best.
She matched that score with a 72 the following week in the final round of the Pinehurst Challenge, Oct. 12-13. Judd settled for a tie for 79th in a 104-player field in North Carolina with a three-round total of 231 (81-78-72). Judd closed the fall with a career-best 218 (70-72-76) that included a career-best two-under-par 70 in the first round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 25-27. Her effort tied her for 68th in a loaded field that featured 17 of the nation's top 85 teams.
Judd tied for NU's No. 2 finish at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo., Sept. 21-23. Her tie for 50th (81-73-79-233) included a second-round 73. She opened the season by tying for 52nd (80-76-87-243) at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kan., Sept. 7-8.
Judd opened the spring by tying for 62nd (83-81-164) at the Peg Barnard Invitational, Feb. 13-14. She added a tie for 79th with a 231 (75-81-75) at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 21-22. She added a tie for 49th in a 99-player field at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 11-13. Judd produced three consistent rounds to finish at 232 (78-77-77) on the Longbow Golf Course.
She tied for 60th in a strong 97-player field at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Hawaii Invitational, March 22-23. Judd carded a 235 (80-79-76) over three rounds in Honolulu, before tying for 90th (83-87-80-250) in a loaded 18-team field at the Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif., April 3-5. Judd closed her sophomore season by tying for 80th (80-77-81-238) at the Big Ten Championships at The Fort Golf Resort in Indianapolis.
Freshman (2014-15)
Judd made an immediate impact on the Husker lineup by firing a three-round score of 233 (78-81-74) at Nebraska's season-opening Chip-N Club Invitational. Her performance at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, Sept. 8-9, earned her a second straight lineup spot at the Minnesota Invitational, Sept. 15-16.
She continued her solid play in Minnesota, closing as the No. 2 Husker with a three-round total of 233 (78-76-79) to finish 45th at the Minikahda Club.
Judd earned a lineup spot at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo., Sept. 22-24, but she did not play in the tournament. She was replaced by fellow freshman Emily Gillman.
Judd returned to the lineup for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colo., Oct. 10-12, where she tied for 48th with a 236 (81-80-75). She closed the fall season with a tie for 63rd (79-81-83-243) at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Hawaii, Oct. 22-23.
She missed Nebraska's spring opener at the Westbrook Invitational because of a foot injury, but returned three weeks later to compete as an individual at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 13-15. Judd was NU's No. 3 finisher at the event, closing in a tie for 48th (78-78-79-235) at the Longbow Golf Club.
Judd returned to the Nebraska lineup at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., March 20-21, producing her best tournament of the season. She fired a three-round score of 222 (74-73-75), slashing 11 strokes from her previous career best, to post NU's second-best individual finish at the tournament. Her effort included a season-best 73 in the second round.
She led the Huskers with a tie for 49th (80-78-76-234) at the SMU/Dallas Athletic Club Invitational, April 10-11. Judd added a tie for 70th at 238 (81-76-81) in her first appearance at the Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis, April 24-26.
Judd finished her freshman season with a 78.08 stroke average, which ranked No. 6 among all freshmen in Husker history.
High School/Amateur
The No. 70 player in the GolfWeek/Sagarin ratings for the Class of 2014, Judd was a two-time Kansas Class 6A state individual champion at Olathe Northwest, capturing the 2012 and 2013 titles. She won individual medalist honors in nearly every high school tournament her junior and senior seasons.
Judd won all but two of her high school tournaments her junior and senior seasons, including a pair of regional titles and two Sunflower League crowns under Coach Sydney Tucker.
The top-ranked female golfer in Kansas, she was also the top junior golfer in the six-state area of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Colorado, Arkansas and Oklahoma. She was a four-year golf letterwinner and earned a varsity letter in basketball.
In the summer of 2013, Judd won the PGA Junior Series at Arbor Links with a three-round total of 220 (70-71-79), after finishing fourth in 2012. Judd added a 21st-place finish at the 2012 Trusted Choice Big “I” National Championships. She finished fourth at the PGA Junior Series event at Arbor Links and eighth at the AJGA Nebraska Junior at Quarry Oaks in 2012.
Personal
Audrey is the daughter of Chad and Betsy Judd and was born in Springfield, Mo., on April 26, 1996. Audrey has one sister, Emma.
A management and marketing major at Nebraska, Audrey earned her bachelor's degree in December of 2018. She claimed academic All-Big Ten honors in 2016, 2017 and 2018. She is also a seven-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She is a four-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).
She chose Nebraska over Denver, Michigan, San Diego State, BYU, Kansas and Kansas State.
