Senior (2016-17)
Sarah Pravecek provided consistent play and lower scores in her final season as a Husker. The senior from Omaha competed in all 28 rounds for the Huskers in 2016-17 and finished with a 77.29 stroke to rank third on the team. She capped her career with a tie for 61st (79-82-80-241) at the Big Ten Championships.

Pravecek played in 79 career rounds at Nebraska and finished with a 77.82 stroke average.

Pravecek solidified her spot in the Husker lineup as the lone senior with a young group of Huskers. She opened the fall with a tie for 35th (79-76-74-229) at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colo., Sept. 12-13. She added a tie for 28th (79-72-151), which included a season-best 72 in the second round at the East & West Match Play Challenge in Ann Arbor, Mich., Sept. 18-20.

She added a tie for 29th (83-74-74-231) at Nebraska's Chip-N Club Invitational, Sept. 25-27, before tying for 57th (79-73-75-227) in a 102-player field at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colo., Oct. 7-9.

Pravecek closed the fall with a two-round total of 151 (75-76) at the rain-shortened Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Oct. 23-25. She tied for 89th in a loaded 105-player field in Las Vegas.

She opened the spring with Nebraska's No. 2 finish in a tie for 40th (80-77-77-234) at the Central District Invitational in Port St. Lucie, Fla., Feb. 20-21. She contributed a three-round total of 233 (78-76-79) at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 26-27. She tied for 68th individually.

Pravecek tied for 60th with teammate Audrey Judd at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 17-19. Pravecek finished at 232 (79-79-74) on the Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, giving her 20 rounds of 79 or better this season.

Pravecek closed the regular season with a three-round total of 235 (84-75-79) to tie for 54th in a 79-player field at the Hawkeye El Tigre in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, April 2-4.

She is also a strong performer in the classroom and community as a three-time academic All-Big Ten selection and a member of the 2016 and 2017 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She was also the Nebraska women's golf program's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner in 2017. She earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2017.

Junior (2015-16)
Pravecek posted a 77.83 stroke average over 24 rounds as a junior, including 12 inside Nebraska's lineup. She was one of six Huskers to compete in the lineup at the Big Ten Championships, where she closed the season 75th with a three-round total of 233 (75-79-79). 

Pravecek opened the year by tying for 24th while playing as an individual outside of NU's lineup at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational at Colbert Hills in Manhattan, Kan., Sept. 7-8. She totaled 230 (82-75-73) including a season-best 73 in the final round.

She followed with a tie for 50th (78-77-78-233) to match Nebraska's second-best individual finish at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge at the Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo., Sept. 21-23.

Pravecek notched the first top-20 finish of her career by tying for 20th with a season-best 229 (80-75-74) at Nebraska's Chip-N Club Invitational at the Country Club of Lincoln, Oct. 5-6. She added a 238 (80-79-79) to tie for 94th at the Pinehurst Challenge in North Carolina, Oct. 12-13.
She traveled with the Huskers and competed as an individual at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 21-22. She tied for 77th with a 230 (75-78-77). Pravecek competed as an individual again in Arizona at the Clover Cup, March 11-13. She tied for 65th with fellow Husker individual Emily Gillman in the 99-player tournament. Pravecek closed the three-round tournament in Mesa with a 236 (78-78-80).

At the Dr. Donnis Thompson Hawaii Invitational March 22-23, Pravecek tied for 69th in a strong 97-player field with a three-round score of 239 (84-78-77).

Sophomore (2014-15)
Pravecek made a strong first impression in her first lineup appearance as a Husker at the season-opening Chip-N Club Invitational, Sept. 8-9. She produced a three-round score of 232 to finish as Nebraska's No. 4 golfer at Wilderness Ridge. Her performance included a season-best 76 in the final round.

She earned a spot in NU's five-player lineup at the Minnesota Invitational, Sept. 15-16, where she finished as the No. 5 Husker with a three-round score of 246 (79-84-83). She tied for 71st in a 75-player field. Pravecek did not play at the GolfWeek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo., Sept. 22-24, but did compete as an individual at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colo., Oct. 10-12. She tied for 51st with a 237 (79-80-78).

She tied for 80th (79-78-75-235) as an individual outside the Husker lineup at the Westbrook Invitational to open the spring, Feb. 22-23. Pravecek also tied for 68th (83-79-80-242) in NU's top five at the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., March 13-15.

She returned to Arizona with the Huskers the following week as an individual at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, March 20-21. Pravecek produced the best three-round total of her career with a 222 (75-74-73) to tie for 45th. She matched Audrey Judd for the second-best performance by a Husker.

Pravecek earned a lineup spot for the Big Red at the SMU/Dallas Athletic Club Invitational, April 10-11, closing the regular season as NU's No. 2 finisher in a tie for 52nd (83-76-76-235).
She made her first appearance at the Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis, April 24-26, closing as Nebraska's No. 6 finisher in 76th place at 241 (84-79-78). Pravecek ended her sophomore campaign with a 78.75 stroke average.

Freshman (2013-14)
Pravecek joined the Huskers for the second semester of her freshman season in 2013-14, after opening her collegiate career at Omaha. Pravecek was granted a one-time transfer waiver and was immediately eligible for the Huskers in the spring semester of 2014.

Pravecek made the first tournament appearance of her Husker career at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., March 28-29. She made an impressive debut with the Big Red by tying for 35th with a three-round score of 226 (80-76-70) that included a two-under-par final-round 70, while playing as an individual outside the NU lineup. The 70 was the best collegiate round of her career, while the 226 shattered her previous career-best collegiate tournament score by 16 strokes.

Pravecek spent her first semester of college at Omaha, where she competed in 11 rounds and produced an 81.4 stroke average for the Mavericks.

She opened her collegiate career at the Chip-N Club Invitational by tying for 49th in a 75-player field with a three-round total of 247 (83-81-83). She followed with a tie for ninth in a 38-player field at the North Dakota Fall Classic (84-83-79-246).

Pravecek finished eighth in a 60-player field at the SIU-Edwardsville Intercollegiate with back-to-back rounds of 80, before closing the fall with a tie for 29th in a 57-player field at UMKC Fall Invitational. She fired rounds of 84-79-79 to finish with a then-career-best three-round total of 242 in Kansas City.

High School/Amateur
In high school, Pravecek was a four-year letterwinner for Coach Jim Miller at Marian High School. As a senior, she was the individual medalist at the 2012 Class A state championship. A three-time first-team all-state selection, she was also the Metro Conference champion in 2010 and 2012. 

As a senior, Pravecek claimed medalist honors in seven of eight tournaments and posted a 77 stroke average. She also matched her personal best with a round of 69. Pravecek led Marian to the Metro Conference team title.

As a junior, Pravecek won five of seven tournaments in a season cut short by illness. She fired a personal-best 18-hole score of 69. As a sophomore in the fall of 2010, Pravecek was the Metro Conference champion.

She helped the Crusaders capture their sixth consecutive state team title, while finishing fourth as an individual. Pravecek helped Marian to a state team championship as a freshman in 2009, while finishing fifth as an individual.

Personal
Sarah is the daughter of Jeff and Lisa Pravecek and was born Aug. 14, 1995. She has one sister, Stephanie, and four brothers Stephen, Andrew, Nicholas and Nathan. 

Sarah was a marketing majoring and earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2017. She captured academic All-Big Ten honors in 2015, 2016 and 2017. She is also a four-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

Also a strong performer in the community, Sarah earned spots on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2016 and 2017. She also claimed the women's golf team's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2017.

Sarah's uncle, Gregg Barrios, was a starting place-kicker for the Nebraska football team, lettering for NU in 1986-88-89-90.
