Senior (2011-12)
Katie Keiser provided depth while serving a part-time role in the Husker lineup as a senior in 2011-12.

The Gothenburg, Neb., native produced a career-best tie for 30th in the BYU at Entrada Classic in St. George, Utah, March 19-20. Keiser, who was a late replacement for Shelby Martinek in the Husker lineup, carded a 237 over three rounds, including a season-best 75 in the final round to help the Huskers to a third-place team finish. Her tie for 30th came in a 68-player field at the 12-team event. She added a 244 (77-82-85) to finish 86th at the Mountain View Collegiate, March 23-24.

She closed the regular season by tying for 58th (89-82-80-251) at the Ohio State Spring Invitational, April 21-22. She added a tie for 57th (84-78-79-241) at the Big Ten Tournament in French Lick, Ind., April 27-29. She closed her senior season with an 81.26 stroke average over 27 rounds, including 15 rounds in the Husker lineup. She represented the Huskers at the conference tournament in both her junior and senior seasons, earning letters at Nebraska in both years.

Keiser opened her senior season by earning a lineup spot at Nebraska's season-opening Chip-N Club Invitational. She finished in a tie for 45th (245) in an 81-player field at the event.

She earned another lineup spot at the Lady Northern Invitational in French Lick, Ind., Oct. 10-11. She finished 64th in a loaded field with a three-round total of 246. She returned to Indiana with the Huskers the following week as an individual, where she finished 52nd in a 77-player field with a season-best 243 that included a season-best final-round 78.

Keiser opened the fall campaign by playing as an individual at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, where she finished 82nd (84-87-82-253), befoe tying for 61st (78-80-76-234) while playing as an individual at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 26-27. Keiser's performance in Arizona included a then-season-best 76 in the final round.

Junior (2010-11)
Keiser helped Nebraska by making six appearances with 17 rounds inside the Husker lineup. She earned lineup spots at both the Baylor Spring Invitational and the Big 12 Championships to close her junior season, finishing in a tie for 54th (77-80-81-238) at the conference tournament in Columbia, Mo., April 22-24.

Overall, Keiser played 26 total rounds on the season and produced NU's fifth-best stroke average (79.77).

Keiser earned a spot in the Nebraska lineup in the regular-season finale at the Baylor Spring Invitational, April 11-12. She opened the tournament with a 79, which counted toward NU's team score. She closed the tournament with rounds of 85 and 84 to close at 248 in a tie for 78th in a 94-player field.

Keiser's performance in Texas followed on the heels of arguably the best tournament of her career when she produced a career-best 228 at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., March 25-26. Keiser's effort in Arizona included a final-round 69, shattering her previous career-best round of 72. She tied for 57th while playing as an individual at Mountain View.

Keiser played in NU's top five at the season-opening Chip-N Club Invitational, finishing in a tie for 71st (79-83-162) at the rain-shortened event at Wilderness Ridge in Lincoln.

She traveled as an individual to the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational and tied for 50th (81-85-81-247), before sitting out NU's next two competitions of the fall (Johnie Imes Invitational, Dale McNamara Invitational).

She closed the fall campaign on a high note by earning a lineup spot at the Alamo Invitational in San Antonio. After an opening-round 80, she scorched the Briggs Ranch Golf Course with a then-career-best, even-par 72 in the second round. She added a final-round 78 to finish with a then-career-best 230 in a tie for 38th.

Keiser opened the spring in the NU lineup, tying for 93rd (83-76-81-240) at the 33-team Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. She made her fourth lineup appearance at the UNLV Spring Invitational where she tied for 63rd (84-77-77-238).

She added a trip to the BYU Entrada Classic as an individual, where she finished in a tie for 51st (85-77-81-243).

Keiser, who enrolled at Nebraska before the start of the fall semester in 2010, produced a solid summer on the course, capturing runner-up honors to former Husker JC Stevenson in the 2010 Nebraska Women's Stroke Play. Current Husker teammate Kayla Knopik took fifth. Keiser also advanced to the semifinals of the 2010 Nebraska State Match Play, falling to eventual champion Susan Marchese. Keiser knocked out Knopik in the round of 16.

Winthrop (2008-10)
Keiser spent her first two collegiate seasons at Winthrop University, where she posted an 80 stroke average.

High School/Amateur
Before heading to Winthrop, Keiser captured the 2007 Nebraska Class C State High School championship as a junior at Gothenburg High School, helping the Swedes and Coach Jim Henke to a runner-up team finish. She also earned Class C All-State honors following her senior season in 2008.

A four-time high school state qualifier, Keiser was also the runner-up at the 2008 Nebraska State Match Play Championships. She added a runner-up finish at the 2010 Nebraska Women's State Stroke Play championship, while advancing to the semifinals of the 2010 State Match Play tournament.

Keiser was a three-time Southwest Conference champion as a golfer, while also starring for the Swedes' basketball team. She also earned four high school letters in track and field, giving her 12 varsity letters as a high school athlete.

The daughter of Brian and Torey Keiser, Katie was born in Gothenburg, Neb., on Nov. 15, 1989. She has two older sisters, Kelly and Amy. A psychology major, Katie earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2013. She also claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring semesters of 2012 and 2013, and the fall semester of 2012.
