Senior (2006-07)
Chrissie McArdle put the finishing touches on a solid Nebraska career by finishing in a tie for 42nd at the 2007 Big 12 Championships, while helping the Huskers advance to their third straight NCAA Regional appearance.

McArdle ranked third on the team with her 78.49 stroke average on the year, while competing in all 35 rounds for the Huskers. She capped her career by tying for 77th at the NCAA West Regional in St. George, Utah, to help NU to a 15th-place team finish. 

McArdle closed the regular season with one of the best tournaments of her career with a 219 to help the Huskers to a school-record team score and a tournament title at the Mountain View Collegiate March 24-25. The Eden Prairie, Minn., native posted the 18th top-20 finish of her career by closing in a tie for 19th at Mountain View. Her effort in Tucson included tying her career-best with a two-under-par 70 in the second round.

McArdle posted a career-best tournament finish with a second-place showing to lead Nebraska to the Chip-N Club Invitational title in September. She tied for the tournament lead through three rounds before falling in a playoff. She added a tie for 14th in NU’s win at the Bronco Invitational. The Huskers won three tournament titles during McArdle's senior season, and she finished among the top 20 individually in all of NU’s team victories.

A standout in the classroom as well, McArdle earned first-team academic All-Big 12 honors for the second straight season and earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll both semesters.

Junior (2005-06)
McArdle was one of the Huskers’ most consistent golfers throughout the season, competing in all 40 rounds for the Huskers while posting the team’s No. 2 stroke average (76.80).

McArdle’s stroke average ranked 18th in the Big 12. She fired the best round of her career with a 70 at the Mountain View Collegiate. McArdle finished in a tie for third with a career-low 215 through three rounds that included a second-round 71.

She added a fourth-place showing in NU’s team victory at the Baja Invitational, Feb. 13-14.

On the year, McArdle produced 14 rounds of 75 or below, including three rounds at or below par. She finished among the top 20 individually in seven of Nebraska’s 13 tournaments.

McArdle shot a career-low round of 70 at the Mountain View Collegiate Tournament, helping the Huskers break the 54-hole school record with a career-low 215.

Along with her success on the course, McArdle also earned first-team academic All-Big 12 honors and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll during both the spring and fall semesters.

Sophomore (2004-05)
After an impressive freshman year, McArdle continued to improve her consistency by cutting her scoring average down to 77.56, which ranked second on the team. McArdle placed in the top 10 twice and recorded eight top 30 performances on the season.

McArdle's best finish came at the season-opening Chip-N Club Invitational, Sept. 19-20 in Lincoln where she finished eighth.

McArdle's best performance came at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate, where she finished in 10th place. She tied a season-low 71 in the final round and tied her season-low tournament total of 221 that she set at the 2003 adidas Fall Classic. At the Big 12 Championships, McArdle finished in a tie for 33rd with a score of 238.

Freshman (2003-04)
McArdle played in eight tournaments for Nebraska and produced the Huskers' lowest three-round score of the season with her season-low 221 at the adidas Fall Classic, where she tied for fifth. McArdle had season-low rounds in each successive round of the adidas Fall Classic, including an even-par 72 in the final round. At the Big 12 Championships, McArdle finished in a tie for 47th place.

McArdle owned three top-15 finishes, and ranked third on the team with a 77.45 fall stroke average. She finished with a 79.60 average on the year.

High School/Amateur
McArdle was a four-year letterwinner for Coach Marty Tiegen at Eden Prairie. She was a four-time all-conference honoree, two-time all-state pick, the 2003 Junior Girls Player of the Year, the 2002 and 2003 conference MVP and a two-time captain. In 2003, she won the PGA Junior Series in Chaska, Minn.

Personal
The daughter of Rick and Kathy McArdle, Chrissie is majoring in finance and carries a 3.091 GPA. She was a first-team academic All-Big 12 selection in 2006 and 2007, and a six-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll member.
