  • Two-Time First-Team Academic All-Big 12 (2001, 2002)

As a Junior (2001-02):  Krane participated in five tournaments for the Huskers, compiling a 83.35 stroke average.  Her best finish came at the Big 12 Invitational where she placed in a tie for 31st with a 159 over two rounds. At the Chip-N Club Husker Invitational, Krane compiled her lowest season total with a 242.

As a Sophomore (2000-01):  After battling a nagging arm injury that held her out of action for a majority of the fall, Krane started in all six of NU's spring tournaments. She notched her top performance of the spring at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, finishing in a tie for 32nd. Prior to suffering the arm injury, Krane carded consecutive rounds of 78 at the NCAA Fall Preview to finish in a tie for 44th. Along with each of the other four starters, Krane earned academic All-Big 12 honors.

As a Freshman (1999-2000): Krane cracked Nebraska's lineup twice in the spring, competing for NU at the Green Wave Classic and the Betsy Rawls Classic. She started in four of five tournaments during the fall semester as a Husker.  Her final-round score of 74 at the Lady Razorback Invitational helped Nebraska capture its second team title of the fall.

Before Nebraska/Amateur: During high school at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Wantagh, N.Y., Krane won five tournaments and was a medalist in the New York State Girls Junior amateur Tournament.

Personal: The daughter of Steve and Marilyn Krane, Amanda was born April 29, 1981. She was a two-time academic All-Big 12 selection as an advertising major at Nebraska.
