Freshman (2000-01)
Walk-on Lesley Vaughn was the only freshman on the 2000-01 Nebraska women's golf roster. Vaughn did not compete among an experienced Husker lineup in her only season at NU.
High School/Amateur
A four-year letterwinner for Head Coach Debbie Waetje at Chandler High School, Vaughn qualified for the state tournament in all four seasons as an individual. Her best finish came as a freshman, when she placed 17th in the state of Arizona. Away from the links, Vaughn worked as a peer facilitator with special needs students and was a member of the National Honor Society.

The daughter of James and Karin Vaughn, Lesley was born May 12, 1981. She was a biology major at Nebraska.
