Senior (1999-00)
A Lincoln native, Kay C. "K.C." Elgert transferred to Nebraska for her final two seasons after beginning her collegiate career at Iowa State. A letterwinner at Nebraska in both 1999 and 2000, Elgert competed in 11 rounds during the fall season as a senior, posting an 84.45 stroke average. She managed a season-best round of 79 in the first round of the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
She closed her NU career with an 85.20 stroke average over 24 rounds.
Junior (1998-99)
Elgert competed in 14 rounds in her first season at Nebraska after transferring from Iowa State. She compiled an 85.79 stroke average that included a season-best round of 80 in the third round at the Ptarmigan Ram Fall Classic.

A highly sought-after recruit, Elgert was a three-time letterwinner at Lincoln Southeast High School. A two-time Class A district champion, she qualified for the National Independent Insurance Tournament in 1994.
