Redshirt (1997-98)
Sara Lynn Ferguson redshirted in her only season at Nebraska as a true freshman in 1997-98. The Elwood, Neb., native did not compete for the Huskers in any events and did not earn a varsity letter.
High School/Amateur
Ferguson lettered four times as a golfer at Lexington High School and finished second at the high school state tournament in both her junior and senior seasons. She was an all-state golfer her final two years of high school. She was also the Lexington High School senior class president in 1996-97.
