Redshirt Freshman (1990-91)
Anne Rist earned a letter for the Huskers as a redshirt freshman in 1990-91, after competing in six rounds. In her second season at Nebraska, the Brandon, S.D., native competed in the Nebraska lineup at the Lady Buckeye Fall Invitational where she managed a three-round total of 279. She also played as an individual at the 1991 Husker Golf Classic, finishing 24th with a 300.

Although Rist competed at the Lady Buckeye during the fall campaign, she sat out much of the season with a hand injury that she sustained while playing softball in the summer of 1990.

Rist did not return to the team following the 1990-91 season.

High School/Amateur
An outstanding all-around athlete, Rist was a top high school softball pitcher at Brandon Valley High School in South Dakota. Along with being the MVP and team captain of both the golf and softball teams, Rist was an all-conference basketball player and named her team's offensive MVP.

The daughter of Ardell and Janet Rist, Anne was born Nov. 25, 1970, in Sioux Falls, S.D.
