Senior (1987-88)
A co-captain for the Huskers as a senior in 1987-88, Kathy Wall closed her career as a four-year letterwinner for Nebraska. The Aurora, Neb., native steadily improved her game throughout her NU career, posting a pair of top-10 tournament finishes as a senior. Playing as an individual at the 1988 Husker Spring Classic, Wall fired a career-best 239 that included career-best rounds of 79 in the second and third rounds to finish in a tie for ninth. Her top-10 showing in Lincoln followed on the heels of a seventh-place finish (172) as an individual at the North Texas Lady Eagle Invitational in Denton, Texas.

Wall opened the season with a 274 at the Cyclone Golf Classic, before finishing 38th (265) at the Iowa Invitational. After tying for 47th (266) at the All-College Kickoff in Oklahoma, Wall produced her back-to-back top-10 finishes. She closed her NU career by taking 59th (254) at the South Alabama Gulf Shores Invitational.

She finished her senior season with a career-best 86.47 stroke average over a career-high 17 rounds. Her senior season stroke average represented nearly a 12 stroke improvement from her freshman campaign at NU.

Junior (1986-87)
Wall continued her on-course improvement as a junior, competing in five tournaments for the Huskers. She produced her best score of the season with a 270 at the Duke Fall Invitational to finish 54th. She added a 41st-place finish with a 275 at the Kansas Jayhawk Invitational, before finishing 46th (170) at the North Texas Lady Eagle, including a season-best 82 in the second round. After finishing 64th (281) at the prestigious Susie Maxwell Berning Classic, Wall wrapped up her third season at Nebraska by taking 50th (179) at the Tiger Spring Invite.

Sophomore (1985-86)
Wall earned her second varsity letter by showing impressive gains on the course with an 88.40 stroke average over five rounds as a sophomore. She posted a season-best tournament score of 265 at the Iowa Invitational, which included 85s in the second and third rounds. She added a 177 in two rounds at the North Texas Lady Eagle.

Freshman (1984-85)
In her first season at Nebraska, Wall earned a varsity letter by competing in nine rounds and posting a 98 stroke average. She produced her best tournament of the season with a three-round total of 288 while playing as an individual at the Purdue Lady Boilermaker. She posted a season-best 92 in the second round at Illinois, after opening her career with a 306 at the Rayburn Country Classic.

High School/Amateur
A four-year golf letterwinner at Aurora High School, Wall finished fourth at the 1984 Class B high school state tournament after winning a district title for Coach Dick Binfield in 1983-84. She was also a National Honor Society member at Aurora.

The daughter of Eldon and Luana Wall, Kathy was born in Aurora, Neb.
