Redshirt (1987-88)
A Lincoln native, Chris Horwart redshirted in her only season on the Nebraska women's golf team as a freshman in 1987-88. She did not compete and did not earn a letter for the Huskers. Horwart was one of three Lincoln natives on the 1987-88 roster, joining Lincoln East teammate Alysen Madsen and Lincoln Southeast graduate Carolyn Kniffin.
High School/Amateur
Horwart joined the Nebraska squad after competing at Lincoln East High School for Coach Jerry Trimble.
