Freshman (1986-87)
Shawnda Hatcher made an appearance on the Nebraska women's golf roster as a sophomore during the 1986-87 season. However, she did not compete for the Huskers and did not earn a varsity letter at NU.
High School/Amateur
Hatcher was a standout all-around athlete at Cozad High School. A four-year golf letterwinner, Hatcher also earned three letters in basketball and three more in track and field. In the classroom, Hatcher was a member of the National Honor Society, the Honor Roll, and graduated in the top 10 percent of her senior class.
