Senior (1982-83)
A four-year letterwinner for the Huskers, Lori Miller put the finishing touches on a solid Nebraska career by producing an 85.27 stroke average over 15 rounds as a senior. The Grand Island, Neb., native opened the season with a 261 at the Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Kickoff in Oklahoma, before managing a 266 at the Iowa State Invite.

After sitting out the KU Invitational, Miller produced the best tournament performance of her career with a three-round score of 245, including a career-best 74 in the second round, at the Mizzou Invitational. She capped the fall campaign with a solid 250, including a final-round 79, at the Torneo de Universitario de Golf in Monterrey, Mexico. She capped her senior season with a 257 at the Iowa Invitational.

Although she did not compete in the Nebraska lineup at the Big Eight Championships, the Huskers claimed their second league team title in 1983. NU's lineup at the meet included Cathy Nelson (2nd), Shelly Godeken (3rd), Jan Stanard (4th), Carin Roberts (T12th) and Kari Mangan (31st).

Nebraska's team total of 958, edged Oklahoma's 962 by four strokes at the Quail Creek Country Club in Oklahoma City.

Junior (1981-82)
Miller played just nine rounds for the Huskers as a junior, posting an 88.67 stroke average. She produced a season-best 83 in the opening round at NU's spring break tournament, where she also notched a season-best three-round score of 254. She also competed as an individual at the Sooner Invitational to close her junior season, after opening the year in NU's lineup at the prestigious Susie Maxwell Berning Classic.

Sophomore (1980-81)
Miller earned her second varsity letter for the Huskers and enjoyed a dramatic improvement on the course. She posted a career-best 85.23 stroke average over 13 rounds, shaving 6.01 strokes off her freshman average. She fired a season-best 80 in the opening round of the Sooner Invitational, where she finished with a season-best 248, including an 81 in the second round. During the fall, she fired a pair of 82s in two rounds at the Iowa State Invitational, and added two 84s at the Kansas Invite. Miller also competed for Nebraska at the Rayburn Country Classic and the Lamar Invitational.

Freshman (1979-80)
An immediate contributor to Nebraska's lineup as a freshman in 1979-80, Miller managed a 91.24 stroke average over 21 rounds. She capped her rookie season with her only appearance at the Big Eight Conference Championships in Lawrence, Kan. Miller was NU's No. 3 finisher at the Big Eight Tournament, finishing in a tie for 31st (261) with teammate Carin Roberts. Nebraska managed a fifth-place team finish.

Miller opened her Nebraska career with a two-round total of 184 at the Iowa State Invitational, before competing for the Huskers at the AIAW Region VI Tournament in Wichita. She also played in the NU lineup at the Kansas and Missouri invitationals to close the fall campaign. She competed for Nebraska at all five tournaments during the spring season, including a season-best 84 at the Iowa Invitational. She capped the year with a season-best 261 at the Big Eight Tournament.

Personal
The daughter of Ray and Irene Miller, Lori was born March 18, 1961, in Grand Island, Neb. Lori was a community health major at Nebraska.
