Senior (1982-83)
A four-year competitor for Nebraska at the Big Eight Championships, Carin Roberts capped a strong NU career by helping the Huskers to their second Big Eight Conference team title. The four-year letterwinner from North Platte, Neb., was Nebraska's No. 4 finisher at the Big Eight Tournament in Oklahoma City as a senior, finishing with a three-round total of 249 (87-81-81) in a tie for 12th place. Teammates Cathy Nelson (2nd), Shelly Godeken (3rd) and Jan Stanard (4th), provided NU's top three scores in each round, while Roberts' scores were counted for all three rounds to help NU finish at 958 - four strokes ahead of runner-up Oklahoma at 962.

Roberts enjoyed a solid senior season for the Huskers, finishing with an 81.89 stroke average over 18 rounds, ranking third on the team in stroke average behind only All-Big Eight performers Stanard and Nelson. Roberts opened the season with an impressive 240 that included a second-round 77 at the prestigious Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Kickoff in Oklahoma. She managed a 252 at Iowa State, before firing a solid 244 at the Kansas Invite. She sat out the Mizzou Invitational, then provided three solid rounds, including a second-round 79, at the Oklahoma's Torneo de Universitario de Golf in Monterrey, Mexico. She came back with a season-best 76 in the second round of the Iowa Invite, before producing an 81 in the lone round of the Tiger Classic. She capped her senior season with her strong showing at the Big Eight Championships.

During her four-year Nebraska career, Roberts posted a solid 83.59 stroke average over 86 rounds.

Junior (1981-82)
Roberts continued her solid play in the heart of Nebraska's lineup, competing in 24 rounds while posting the team's fourth-best stroke average (81.88). Her third season at Nebraska was highlighted by a career-best 234 at NU's spring break tournament, which included a career-best 72 in the final round.

Roberts helped the Huskers to a team win at the Iowa Invitational with a three-round score of 237 (79-77-81), before assisting NU's run to a fourth-place finish at the Big Eight Championships in Ames, Iowa. Roberts tied for 21st individually at the Big Eight Tournament with a three-round total of 253.

She opened the season with a 246 at the Iowa State Invitational, before adding a 247 at the Mizzou Invite. She helped the Huskers to their third consecutive second-place team finish at Kansas, before producing a 246 at the Torneo de Universitario de Golf hosted by Oklahoma in Monterrey, Mexico.

Sophomore (1980-81)
Roberts continued her solid play as a sophomore, notching a career-best 81.55 stroke average over 20 rounds. She opened her second season with a 78 while playing as an individual at the Iowa State Invitational. She added another 78 in the second round of the AIAW Region VI Tournament, to help the Huskers to a team title.  Roberts also helped the Huskers to a win at the Mizzou Invitational and a second-place team showing in Kansas during the fall campaign.

She opened the spring season with a strong 243 at the Rayburn Country Classic, before registering a season-best 236 (79-78-79) at the Lamar Invitational. She came right back with a 237 at the Sooner Invitational, which included a season-best 77 in the second round.

Roberts capped her sophomore season with a solid 248 (83-84-81) to finish in a tie for 19th at the Big Eight Championships, helping the Huskers to a fourth-place team finish.

Freshman (1979-80)
An immediate contributor to Nebraska's lineup as a true freshman, Carin Roberts tied teammate Lori Miller for 31st (261) at the Big Eight Championships in Lawrence, Kan. Miller helped the Huskers to a fifth-place team finish.

For the season, Roberts produced NU's fifth-best stroke average (88.29), while competing in all 24 rounds for the Huskers. She produced a season-best 80 in the second round to help Nebraska win the nine-team Iowa Invitational during the spring season. She opened her NU career with a season-best 255 that included an opening-round 81 at the Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Kickoff in Oklahoma.

Personal
The daughter of David and Sally Roberts, Carin was born July 16, 1961, in LaGrange, Ill. She was a four-year letterwinner in golf at North Platte High School and was the 1978 Nebraska High School State Champion. Roberts was a civil engineering major at Nebraska.
