Freshman (2024-25)
One of the top young golfers in the state of Nebraska, Olivia Lovegrove made her collegiate debut by competing as an individual outside the Husker lineup at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz. (Feb. 23-24). Lovegrove closed with a three-round total of 223 (+7) that included a career-best 70 (-2) in the second round on the 6,248-yard layout of the Vistas Course at Westbrook Village Golf Club. She tied teammates Arden Louchheim and Danica Lundgren for 55th in the 78-player field.
Lovegrove traveled with the Huskers again to compete as an individual outside the lineup at the MountainView Collegiate (March 2-4). She produced Nebraska’s best individual finish by taking 19th with a 223 (+7), including an opening-round 71 (-1) and a final-round 73 (+1) on the 6,345-yard layout of The Preserve Golf Club at Saddlebrooke in Tucson, Ariz.
She made her debut in the Nebraska lineup at the Terps Invitational (April 6-7). Lovegrove tied for 61st individually with a three-round total of 234 (+18) on the par-72, 6,326-yard layout of the University of Maryland Golf Course, including rounds of 79, 76 and 79.
Lovegrove competed in the second and third rounds for the Huskers at the 2025 Big Ten Championship with her rounds of 77 and 75 on the par-72, 6,187-yard layout at the Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md., counting toward Nebraska’s team total at the tournament.
She finished the season with a 75.64 stroke average 11 rounds for the Huskers during the spring, including her final five rounds in the Nebraska lineup.
Before Nebraska
Lovegrove was the 2022 Nebraska Class C state champion and the 2023 Class C state runner-up, after finishing fourth at state as both a freshman and sophomore at Lincoln Christian High School.
A four-time district champion, Lovegrove fired a Class C state record 65 on her way to the district title as a junior in 2022. A two-time conference champion, Lovegrove’s 66 in 2023 also set the conference record.
The four-time all-state selection and three-time Super State pick was also the champion of all three Nebraska Junior Golf Spring Series events in 2023. She helped the Crusaders to a state runner-up finish as a freshman in 2020 and three district championships in 2020, 2022 and 2023.
Lovegrove was a member of Nebraska’s Four-State team in 2023 and 2024. She was also the runner-up at the 2024 Nebraska Girls Amateur Championship.
An outstanding student, Lovegrove was a two-time member of National Honor Society and a two-time academic all-conference selection at LCS.

The daughter of Justin Lovegrove and Alecia Lovegrove, Olivia was born in Kansas City, Kan. She has a younger sister, Emily.
A double-major in accounting and finance, Olivia earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll with 4.0 grade-point averages in both the fall and spring semesters of 2024-25. She was also a member of the 2025 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
She selected Nebraska over Florida Atlantic and Grand Canyon.
