Freshman (2024-25)
Eden Lohrbach came to Nebraska ready to make immediate contributions to the Husker lineup. A four-time Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Player of the Year at Gilbert High School, Lohrbach captured her third individual state title by eight strokes with a 139 (-5) over 36 holes.
 
Lohrbach was Nebraska's top finisher at the 2025 Big Ten Championship (April 18-20), tying for 61st with a 54-hole total of 228 (+12). Her performance on a par-72, 6,187-yard layout at the Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md., included rounds of 75, 77 and 76.

She made her collegiate debut in Nebraska's second tournament of the season by producing the top individual finish by a Husker at the Red Raider Invitational (Sept. 24-25). Lohrbach closed with a 54-hole score of 229 (+13) to tie for 50th overall on the longest course a Nebraska's women's golf team has ever played with a 6,894-yard, par-72 layout at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas. She managed rounds of 77, 75 and 77.

Lohrbach added another 229 (+13) to finished 54th on the par-72, 6,111-yard layout of the Kissing Tree Golf Course at the Jim West Challenge (Oct. 20-21). Her performance included a 73 (+1) in the third round in San Marcos, Texas.

She closed the fall season with a collegiate career-best 72 in the final round of the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla. Lohrbach finished with a career-best 223 (+7) in a tie for 29th in a 63-player field on the par-72, 6,175-yard layout at the Biltmore Golf Club. She was Nebraska's No. 2 finisher at the event.
 
Lohrbach opened the spring with a three-round total of 225 (+9) to tie for 80th while competing as an individual outside Nebraska's lineup at the PDI Intercollegiate - hosted by UCF (Feb. 2-4). Her effort in Orlando included a career-best-tying even-par 72 in the second round on the 6,357-yard layout of the Eagle Creek Golf Club.
 
She added a 228 (+12) to tie for 66th in a 78-player field at the Westbrook Spring Invitational (Feb. 23-24). She produced rounds of 77, 75 and 76 and the par-72, 6,248-yard layout of the Vistas Course at the Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Ariz.

Lohrbach matched teammate Arden Louchheim in a tie for 40th at 230 (+17) at the Spring Break Shootout in Dade City, Fla. (March 17-18). Lohrbach closed the tournament strong with a 73 (+2) to help the Huskers to a fifth-place finish in a 13-team field. She managed rounds of 78 and 79 on the opening day of the event on a 6,049-yard, par-71 layout at the Lake Jovita Golf Club-South.

She tied for 66th with a 225 (+9) in a loaded 84-player field at the Clemson Invitational (March 28-30). Lohrbach closed with a 74 (+2) in the final round on a 6,489-yard layout at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, following rounds of 76 and 75 to open the tournament.

Lohrbach was Nebraska's No. 4 finisher with a 231 (+15) while playing as an individual outside the Husker lineup at the Terps Invitational (April 6-7). She produced rounds of 78, 77 and 76 on the par-72, 6,326-yard layout of the University of Maryland Golf Course to tie for 51st overall.

Lohrbach produced a 75.85 stroke average over 27 rounds, including 21 rounds in the Husker lineup as a true freshman.

Before Nebraska
Lohrbach led Gilbert to back-to-back Class 3A state team titles in 2023 and 2024, including an 86-0 head-to-head record in 2023 for Coach Grant Walker. She also led the Tigers to state runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2022.

Lohrbach powered Gilbert to four consecutive conference and district championships in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Individually, Lohrbach was undefeated as a junior in 2023.

Lohrbach was the runner up at the Iowa Women’s Amateur in 2021, before finishing third at the state women’s amateur in both 2022 and 2023.

Personal
The daughter of Mike and Jen Lohrbach, Eden was born Dec. 23, 2005 in Ames, Iowa. She has two younger twin sisters, Ava and Ella. Eden has not declared a major but she did earn a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2024. She was also a member of the 2025 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
