Freshman (2025-26)
Ailis Tribolet (pronounced AY-liss) is developing into a force in the Nebraska lineup in her first year as a Huskers. The freshman from Chandler, Arizona produced a career-best tie for sixth with a career-best 207 (-9) in her return to Arizona for the Westbrook Spring Invitational (Feb. 22-23).

Tribolet, who matched fellow Husker freshman Kaleigh Babineaux stroke for stroke, opened the tournament with a career-best 67 (-5) before adding a 71 (-1) in the second round. She closed with a 69 (-3) to help the Huskers to the best single-round score in school history 272 (-16) in the final round.

For her performance on the par-72, 6,293-yard layout of the Vistas Course at the Westbrook Village Golf Club, Tribolet joined Babineaux in being named the Big Ten Co-Freshmen-of-the-Week (Feb. 26).

Tribolet's top-10 finish in Arizona followed a seventh-place showing at the Texas Golf Showdown (Feb. 16-17). She notched a three-round total of 219 (+3) on the par-72, 6,311-yard layout of The Woodlands Country Club. 

She opened the spring season with her first career top-25 finish, tying for 24th at The UCF Challenge - presented by PDI (Jan. 25-27). She carded back-to-back rounds of 71 (-1) in the second and third rounds after opening with a 75 in Orlando to finish the event with 217 (+1). 

Tribolet added her fourth consecutive top-25 finish by tying for 13th with a 220 (+7) at the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational (March 8-10). She helped the Huskers to their team title since the 2023 Westbrook Spring Invitational by posting consistent rounds of 73, 73 and 74 on the par-71, 5,900-yard layout of the Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, Calif.

Tribolet, who owns a 73.18 stroke average over 17 rounds this season, made her collegiate debut by competing at the Sam Golden Invitational (Sept. 8-9). She closed with a three-round total of 223 (+7) to tie for 66th on the par-72, 6,343-yard layout at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas.

She earned a spot in the Husker lineup at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate presented by PDI (Oct. 6-7), where she tied for 58th with a 36-hole total of 158 (+18) on the challenging 6,005-yard layout of Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kan.

She posted a 76.20 stroke average over five rounds for the Huskers in the fall of 2025.

As a high school senior, Tribolet was ranked No. 73 by Junior Golf Scoreboard. In 2022, Tribolet competed in the 122nd U.S Women's Amateur. Later, she qualified for the 2023 U.S. Girls Junior Amateur. In 2024, Tribolet led her high school boys' team to the Arizona Interscholastic Association Division III state championship, before advancing to the quarterfinals in the 2025 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship.

Before Nebraska
Tribolet led her Valley Christian High School boys’ team to the 2024 Arizona Interscholastic Association Division III state championship by winning the individual title with a two-round total of 132 (-12), including a final-round 63 (-3) at Aguila Golf Course in Laveen Village.

She bypassed a chance to repeat as a high school state champion to compete at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship. She and teammate Anya Mathur (Scottsdale Prep) advanced to the quarterfinals.

As a senior at Valley Christian, Tribolet was ranked No. 73 by Junior Golf Scoreboard. Tribolet competed in the 122nd U.S. Women’s Amateur in Chambers Bay, Wash., as a 15-year-old in 2022. She also qualified for the 2023 U.S. Girls Junior Amateur. Tribolet also won the Junior Golf Association of Arizona Fall Classic at Lone Tree Golf Course (Nov. 2-3).

Personal
The daughter of Beau and Morgan Tribolet, Ailis has two sisters, Chloe and Parker. A mechanical engineering major, Ailis earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2025.
