Eric Lund joined the Huskers as a volunteer coach in 2012-13. Lund assists with the hurdles and sprints.
Lund helped coach the Husker sprinters and hurdlers to continued success in 2013. He helped oversee Miles Ukaoma as he earned first-team All-America honors in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships with a sixth-place finish.
Lund is a former Husker, as he competed for the Huskers from 2007-11. He was part of a school record breaking performance in the 4x100 shuttle hurdle relay, while also helping the men's 4x400 meter relay team to an 18th-place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships. Lund competed in five Big 12 Championships and was a 2011 team captain. He was also a standout in the classroom, earning first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VII honors in 2011.
