Nebraska Career
Barb Reimers saw action on the course for the Huskers as a junior in 1980-81. The Ogallala, Neb., native competed in 17 rounds and posted an 84.35 stroke average on the year. Reimers opened the season with a career-best 252 at the prestigious Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Kickoff. Her effort in Oklahoma included an opening-round 79.

Reimers was even better in two rounds at the Iowa Invitational, where she fired a career-best 74 in the opening round before adding an 80 in the second round for a 154. She added a 160 at Iowa State, including a second-round 79, before notching a 163 that featured an opening-round 78 at the AIAW Region VI Tournament. She also competed for the Huskers at the Mizzou Invitational, the Betsy Rawls Invite and the Rayburn Country Classic.

She did not compete for Nebraska at the Big Eight Championships, and she did not earn a varsity letter in 1981. She was listed on the 1981-82 NU roster as a senior, but she did not compete for the Huskers.
