Huskers Fall in Exhibition Match

The Nebraska soccer team dropped its exhibition match, 3-1, at Colorado State on Wednesday afternoon.

Nathalie Lewis scored the Huskers' lone goal in the 13th minute of the game. She was assisted by Reese Borer. Karli Williams, Reese Snowden, Carson Bohonek, Charlie Wistrom and Ella Rudney each provided a shot on goal for NU.

Avery Gillahan played a majority of the game in goal and logged a save. Alexa Gobel played 22:21 in the net and earned two saves.

Nebraska will open the regular season at Louisville on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The game is set to start at 6:30 p.m. (CT).
