“I am very happy with how the team performed this weekend,” Head Coach Richard Clark said. “We knew it would be a challenge having come off a record weekend as well as being towards the end of a long two week stint that had us shooting doubles back to back weekends. Despite being tired walking into the match today the team stuck to their fundamentals and managed their controllables well. It was great to see Katlyn have another stand out performance in air rifle with her 599. As a team we are beginning to show ourselves what we are capable of, we will head back to Lincoln to get some much needed rest before getting back to work. I am excited to see what this group has in store the remainder of the fall season.”
NU swept the leaderboards in the smallbore, taking every top spot to shoot a team score of 2,364. Seabrooke led the team, scoring a 593 and Rhode followed in second, shooting a score of 592. Moyer placed third with a score of 590 and Sullivan grabbed fourth with a mark of 589. Alivia Perkins rounded out the top five with a score of 586, and Corbett finished out the Nebraska lineup with a personal-best score of 585.
