Freshman (2024-25)
Maddy Moyer earned one first-place finish in the air rifle and the aggregate, four second-place finishes in the smallbore and two in the aggregate, along with two third-place smallbore finishes, a third-place air rifle finish, and a third-place aggregate finish during the 2024-25 season. She shot career bests of 591 in the smallbore, 597 in the air rifle and 1,186 in the aggregate. Moyer was a CRCA Smallbore Honorable Mention All-American and qualified as an individual in the smallbore for the NCAA Championships.

Before Nebraska
Moyer placed fifth at state in her sophomore year and second in her junior year at Lumpkin County High School. She made the Georgia All-State team for two years and had the highest season average in the region and second-highest in the state. She no longer shoots for a high school team. At the 2023 Dixie Doubles Tournament, she placed third in the junior division in air rifle and 14th overall in the same event.

Personal
Maddy is the daughter of Wade and Mary Ann Chandler. Maddy enjoys traveling, reading and training in her free time.

Moyer on Nebraska: “I chose Nebraska because I walked onto campus and saw a place where I just knew I would fit. I love the coaches and my new teammates, and the academic programs were exactly what I was looking for.”
