26 Huskers Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

26 members of the Nebraska cross country team received academic All-Big Ten accolades, the conference announced on Wednesday morning.

11 members of the men's squad made the list, three more than in 2018. Jordan De Spong (accounting/management), Ryan Eastman (biological sciences), Mark Freyhof (agricultural engineering), Ryan Kennedy (graphic design), George Kusche (actuarial science), Karson LeComte (finance), Ryan Martins (English), Wyatt McGuire (elementary education), Brandon Nelson (finance), Jack Slagle (accounting) and Bailey Timmons (finance) all received the honor.

On the women's team, 15 student-athletes made the list, six more than last year. Allie Binder (elementary education), Gabrielle Boucher (civil engineering), Emma Bresser (forensic science), Rachel Brush (elementary education), Elsa Forsberg (fisheries and wildlife), Audrey Freyhof (nutrition and health sciences), Erika Freyhof (nutrition and health sciences), Madison Fritz (pre-health), Izzabella Guerrero (nutrition and health sciences), Kaitlynn Johnson (journalism/psychology), Judi Jones (marketing), Mia Morck (management), Grace Pagone (journalism), Margaret Pollard (computer science) and Ally Talpash (criminology and criminal justice) all earned the accolade.

Audrey Freyhof and Margaret Pollard both made the honoree list with 4.0 GPA's.
