Started the season at Augustana Twilight and placed 12th with a time of 19:27.5, helping the Huskers win the team title...finished 22nd at the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational with a time of 25:31.7...won the Small Town Showdown crown and ran a time 19:50.0...took 139th at the Under Armour Pre-Nationals with a time of 25:10.4...finished 53rd at the Big Ten Championships, clocking a time of 25:07.3...placed 58th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 32:12.3.

2018 (Junior)
Began the season with a 12th-place finish at Augustana Twilight with a time of 22:04.2, helping the Huskers win the team title...placed 83rd at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite with a time of 27:44.5…finished 100th at the Bradley Classic with a time of 26:02.1…set a PR in the 8K and placed 53rd at the Big Ten Championships, clocking a time of 24:58.7…finished 128th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 33:22.5...earned academic All-Big Ten honors.

Competed in his first collegiate race as a Husker at the Augustana Twilight, placing sixth with a time of 19:20.72, helping the Huskers take home the team title...posted a 93rd-place finish at the Big Ten Championships (26:53.0)...ran in 91st place at the NCAA Midwest Regional (32:08.3)...earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll...was a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team....won the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award.

Before Nebraska
Attended Southland Boys High School in Invercargill, New Zealand...set personal bests of 1:50 in the 800m and 3:51 in the 1,500m...finished fifth in the 800m at the 2015 Australian Junior Championships...finished runner-up in the 1,500m and 2,000m steeple chase at the 2013 Oceania Youth Athletics Championships.
