The Nebraska swimming and diving team earned 19 selections to the Big Ten Conference’s 2013 Academic All-Big Ten team.
The conference recognized 620 athletes for the winter season, including 211 women's swimmers and divers. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letter winners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The award marked the third straight academic all-conference selection for seniors Amy Herman, Kelsey Larson, Ashley Reiter, and Sara Weinberg. All four outstanding students were selected to the 2012 Academic All-Big Ten and 2011 First-Team All-Big 12 teams.
