Huskers Earn 86 Spot on Big 12 Honor Roll

Lincoln ? With the release of the Fall Big 12 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, the Nebraska track and field team has again shown it excels on the athletic field and in the classroom with 86 selections. The Big Red posted 45 athletes on the men’s side and 41 on the women’s team.

 

Among its 86 sections, the track and field team had 13 student athletes earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the fall.

 

A total of 324 Nebraska student-athletes earned spots on the 2008 Fall Big 12 Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, including 38 Huskers who posted perfect 4.0 grade-point averages. In order to earn a spot on the honor roll, a student-athlete must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the semester.
