2011 (Junior)
Suzanne Higgins competed in two meets during the indoor track and field season due to a foot injury... posted a time of 2:20.04 in the 800 meters at the adidas Classic on Jan. 22... finished with a time of 3:01.19 in the 1,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational.

2010 (Sophomore)
Higgins made trips to both the indoor and outdoor Big 12 Championships as a sophomore... set a personal best in the indoor 800 meters at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 2:12.81... went on to capture All-Big 12 honors in the 800 with a sixth-place time of 2:10.84 on Iowa State's 300-meter oversized track... ran the 800 meters and 400-meter hurdles during the outdoor season... was unable to earn all-conference honors outdoors after finishing 16th in the 800 at the Big 12 Championships.

2009 (Freshman)
Higgins posted a runner-up finish in her first collegiate race at the Holiday Inn Invitational, running a time of 1:26.80 in the 600 yards... improved the time later in the year with a time of 1:25.09 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... focused on the 400-meter hurdles during the outdoor season... ran a personal best of 1:03.64 at the Nebraska Quad.

Before Nebraska (Grand Island HS)
Higgins won 11 Nebraska Class A state medals and one team championship at Grand Island High School under Coach Jeff Stern... competed at the Nebraska State Track and Field Championships all four years in high school... was a member of the Islanders' state championship team in 2007, and runner-up teams in 2006 and 2008... earned first medal in 2005 as a member of the fifth-place 4x400-meter relay team... finished fifth in the 400 meters and was a member of the fourth-place 4x400-meter relay team in 2006... returned in 2007 to place fourth in the 400 meters (57.87) and third in the 300 hurdles, while also helping the 4x100-meter relay to a third-place finish and the 4x400-meter relay squad to a runner-up showing... capped her career at the 2008 state meet with third-place finishes in the 400 and 300 hurdles, a fifth-place finish in the 4x100-meter relay and third-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay... was also a member of two state runner-up volleyball teams... elected vice-president of the National Honor Society.
