Devaney Center Natatorium

The Bob Devaney Sports Center Natatorium is home to some of the most advanced technology available for the sport of swimming. Movement analyzers, electronic timing and updated weight facilities make the Devaney Center a leader in swimming technology. The Devaney Center Natatorium also features a state-of-the-art Daktronics scoreboard and timing system that offers the fans and athletes a friendly atmosphere.

The 25-yard pool opened in 1976 and offers seating for 1,000 spectators. The diving well includes two one- and three-meter springboards as well as a five-meter platform installed in 1996. New springboards were installed in the spring of 2002.

The venue played host to the 2006 Big 12 Relays and is home to the Husker Invitational and Sprint Challenge. It hosted the Big 12 Relays in 2003 as well and is the annual site of the Nebraska state swimming and diving meet.

The host site for the Husker Invitational, the four-day, nine-team meet in 2008 was the longest and largest tournament that Nebraska has ever hosted at its home pool.

The Huskers also take advantage of Woods Pool, a 50-meter outdoor training facility equipped with five-, seven- and 10-meter diving platforms.
