2014-15 (Sophomore)
Tyler Lehmann did not compete in his first season at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska
Tyler Lehmann transferred to Nebraska from North Dakota State. In 2013-14, Lehmann compiled a 14-6 record, which included a 9-4 dual mark. Of his 14 victories, 12 came by pin, as he earned runner-up honors and the NCAA West Regional. Lehmann’s list of accolades includes All-Western Wrestling Conference second-team honors and WWC All-Academic Team honors. Before college, he spent one and a half years at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

In high school, Lehmann went 236-36, with 164 of his wins by fall, and won three state titles. He compiled a perfect 42-0 record as a senior at West Fargo High School at 189 pounds. Lehmann spent his first three years of high school at Apple Valley, where he captured the 171-pound title after a 49-0 record as a junior. He also won the 171-pound crown as a sophomore. In 2011, he was the Junior PanAmerican champion in freestyle and Greco-Roman. In 2010, Lehmann finished first in freestyle and second in Greco-Roman at the Junior World Team Trials. He took second at the USA Junior Nationals in Greco-Roman in 2009 and took third in freestyle.

Personal
Tyler is the son of Scott and Ellen Lehmann, and has three brothers, Alex, Preston and Zachary. Tyler was born on Sept. 18, 1991. He is majoring in history.
