Regular Season
Colton Adams produced a perfect 6-0 record in two open tournaments. He tied for first at the Cowboy Open and Hastings Cusatis Open. Adams earned one pin and one major decision during his year with the program.

Before Nebraska
Adams won four consecutive Class B state titles while wrestling at Scottsbluff High School. He was ranked as the No. 10 recruit nationally at 145 pounds by InterMat. Adams completed his senior season in 2014 with a 50-2 record, and won three of his four state tournament matches in bonus-point fashion (two pins and one major decision). He compiled a 53-1 record as a junior at 132 pounds after going 37-3 at 126 pounds as a sophomore. Adams won the 112-pound title as a freshman at Scottsbluff. He finished third at the 2012 Walsh Ironman and took fourth at the 2013 Super 32 Challenge.

Personal
Colton is the son of Brian and Tammy Adams and has one sister, Kassie. Colton was born on Aug. 27, 1995, and has not declared a major at Nebraska.
