Regular Season
Austin Chauncey went 11-12 in six open tournaments during his first year at Nebraska. He did not place in any tournament, but managed two pins and one major decision.
Before Nebraska
Chauncey capped his career at Manhattan High School in Kansas with a state title after a 40-2 record. He went 31-8 as a junior en route to a third-place finish in 2013. In 2012, Manhattan captured the 6A team state title. For his work in the classroom, Chauncey earned first-team academic all-state honors.
Personal
Austin is the son of Shawn and Angela Chauncey, and has two sisters, Morgan and Paige. Austin was born on April 30, 1996, and is majoring in computer science at Nebraska.
