Career Notes
2008-Jonas posted a 3-7 record, including 0-1 in duals, at 165 pounds during the 2007-08 campaign. Jonas opened with a 2-2 showing at the Cowboy Open on Nov. 10, before going 0-2 at the Kaufman-Brand Open on Nov. 17. Jonas claimed a 1-2 mark at the Bob Smith Open on Dec. 1, and was pinned by South Dakota State's Ryan Meyer in his one dual appearance on Dec. 7.

2007-Jonas was 13-12 while competing at 165 pounds in every open tournament for NU. After a 1-2 showing at the Harold Nichols Open, Jonas was 2-2 in three open tournaments (Kaufman-Brand Open, UNK Loper Open and the Glen Brand Open) and 3-2 in two others (UNI Open and the Dana College Open).

Before Nebraska-Jonas was a three-time state champion for Kapaun-Mt. Carmel High School, the alma mater of NU All-American wrestler Jacob Klein. Jonas won the Class 5-A 160-pound state title as both a junior and a senior, along with claiming the 145-pound crown as a freshman. He added a runner-up finish at 160 as a sophomore. Jonas wrestled to a 43-1 record in both his junior and senior seasons.

Personal-Frank was born Oct. 28, 1987, in Wichita, Kan. The son of Pam and Pat Jonas, Frank has two brothers, Tim (23) and Gavin (21) and one sister, Carrie (25), and is majoring in history at Nebraska.
