2004-Baker went 3-1, including 1-0 in duals, while serving as a reserve at 149 pounds in the 2003-04 season.

2003-Baker compiled a 6-3 record wrestling in open tournaments. Of Baker’s six wins, three came by technical fall. His best finish was a third-place showing at the Oklahoma Open.

2002-Baker filled in at 149 pounds for an injured Travis Shufelt and compiled a 7-8 record. In the first dual meet of his career, Baker scored a 16-5 major decision over Justin Nieber of Augustana. Baker went 2-3 wrestling in dual meets. He finished fifth at the UNO Kaufman/Brand Open. Two of Baker’s seven wins were by major decision.

2001- Baker compiled an 8-9 mark at 149 pounds while wrestling in open tournaments, including a sixth-place finish at the CMSU Roger Denker Open. Five of Baker’s eight wins went for bonus points (one technical fall, four major decisions).

Before Nebraska-A four-year letterwinner for Coach Mike Hagerty’s Blue Springs High School wrestling squad, Baker was a two-time all-state selection and earned District Seven Wrestler-of-the-Year honors after his senior season in 1999. He also helped lead Blue Springs to the Missouri 4A state championships in 1999.

Personal-The son of Tommy and Barbara Baker, Jeremy was born on July 16, 1981. Jeremy has one sister, Crystal, and one brother, Andy. Jeremy is a community health educationmajor.
